After a 1#1 draw from Coton Sport and Avion, the rest of the games counting for match day four of the MTN elite one will be played in stadia across the country as follows.


Bamboutos vs Fortuna 

The Mangwa boys will animate back in base after losing in the late minute to 10-man Union of Douala on match day 3. Bamboutos FC are unbeaten in 11 of their last 13 home matches in Elite One.


The lost to PWD on match day one but had to announce their return with a scintillating win over Gazelle FA on the second day of play. A period of 8 straight away games without a defeat marks the Elite One campaign of AS Fortuna AS Fortuna haven't lost in 11 of their last 12 games in Elite One. They are conceding an average of 0.67 goals in Elite One matches.


Prediction: Btos to win


Gazelle vs Colombe


Gazelle's performance has been disappointing of late, as they have won just 1 of their 6 most recent Elite One clashes. In their last 3 Elite One games have been scored under 2.5 goals. Gazelle have been scoring 0.33 goals on average in their games in Elite One. Colombe FC have won just 1 of their last 17 league games and are reaching an an average of 0.67 goals in Elite One games. They lost to Canon on day one but went ahead to play two draws with Union of Douala and PWD Bamenda on day two and three respectively.


Prediction: Under 2.5 goals


ASTRES vs CANON Astres have picked only four points from a possible 9 after three games in the 2023/24 Elite one campaign. They will lock horns with a Canon side that is proving to be determined for the title remaining as the undefeated team after the third day of play. Canon Yaoundé are undefeated in their last 8 away league games.

This is promising to be one of the most awaited games for day four. Dynamo havested big from PWD in the transfer window, clutching goalkeeper Sombang Edward, Etta Bawak Thomas, Moluh Mohamed and Leonel Ateba. Moluh and Ateba will however not be available for the clash as they were still on contract before leaving. PWD had inserted a clause that denies them the opportunity of playing against their former club until the contract officially expires.

FOVU vs Victoria United


Both FOVU and Victoria United alias OPOPO have had to struggle so much at the start of this season. Fovu are yet to win any game in the 2023 season while Victoria United have been defeated in all games since their victory on day one against Fauve Azur. Fovu Club have a good record of 9 undefeated games of their last 11 home encounters in Elite One and have won just 1 of their last 6 matches in Elite One Under 2.5 goals were seen in Fovu Club's last 3 matches in Elite One. They are reaching an an average of 0.67 goals in Elite One games.


Prediction: FOVU to win


Union v AIGLE


After a véritable display against Bamboutos on Sunday, Union will be hoping to seal their next home game with a victory. Aigle Royal have lost their last 5 league games and score an average of 0.67 goals in their Elite One matches.


Prediction: Union to win or draw.




Young Sport have scored just one goal in two games and had a 2#0 defeat to Avion on their second day of play. UMS on their part failed to play on day one due to license issues but eventually started in a bad footing.

APEJES vs Fauve Azur


The Centre Derby is built for Olembe Annex Stadium this Wednesday and Fauve Azur are more determined by their victory against Coton Sport last week on the same pitch. APEJES are yet to win a game in this season but will be emphatic against Fauve as they are the better side on paper.
