The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have been defeated by the Harambee Starlets of Kenya in the last qualification matches counting for the Women's African Cup of Nations, WAFCON built to take place in Morocco.
The Indomitable Lionesses were eliminated in post match penalties that ended in a 4#3 victory for the Harambee Starlets. The full time game ended at 1#0 for the Kényans keeping it at a draw since the first leg also had the same score in favor of Cameroon.
The girls of Coach Jean Baptiste Biseck who was just in his second game as Coach, failed to impress as they need at least a draw in Kenya.
The elimination means, Cameroon will neither participate in the WAFCON nor the World Cup.
It is also going to be the first time since 1991 that the Women's African Cup of Nations WAFCON will be played without Cameroon.
Cameroon only arrived Kenya a day before the game, whereas the Kenyans spent four days in Cameroon to play the first leg game.
