Yaounde To host National Interpools from July 15

The Nations capital, Yaounde will host the next play-offs to promote teams into the national Elite Two championship from the football season 2022/2023.

 

A release from the Secretary General of FECAFOOT Blaise Djounang , states that the competition will run from the 15 to the 23rd of July 2023.

 

The competition brings together the 10 regional champions who will compete in two pools of five teams each. The winners of the pools will qualify for the Elite II championship for 2023/2024 football season.

 

Last season the competition was staged in Limbe with Victoria United and  Aigle of Mungo qualifying into the Elite II

 

Several regional Second Division Championships are in the mini interpools phase including the Northwest, West and Southwest regional leagues.
