Sopocam Fish has encouraged the players of PWD of Bamenda with the sum of 100,000 Frs CFA after they recorded a sound 4-0 victory over Avion FC in a delayed match day 16 encounter played at the MTN Municipal Arena in Mbouda on Sunday.
The money was handed to the team captain barely hours after the match. The victory takes PWD away from the drop zone albeit on goal difference. The Abakwa boys count 21 point on the 7th spot of the 11 team table with a plus one goal difference.
Sopocam Fish represented by its founder, Barrister Sopo Ngwa said "the money was encouragement to the players for a job well done and for carrying the hopes of a people as they fight to survive relegation." Sopocam Fish is based at Old town Bamenda and is the biggest supplier of fresh fish from the Northwest region. It owns Sopocam Fish Farm in Muyanka-Bali, the biggest fish farm in the Northwest region.
